ABOUT PASSION & PURPOSE: MARRIAGE
Passion & Purpose for Marriage is not what you are expecting! First of all, don't worry, you will not have to share your feelings with a group. Come and enjoy acoustical music by George Lower and soak up what Dr. Allen Hunt has in store. Allen talks about the Five Love Languages, along with a variety of other topics and research bits, he combines everything into three very faith centered, compelling sections; The Five Things Women Need to Know about Men, The Five Things Men Need to Know about Women, and finally the Most Important Word in a Marriage...and it's not Love. Allen's speaking style is bound to capture your attention; his humor will have you laughing, and all along the way learning more about every relationship in your life. Because we all want a happy life.

Readings for Daily and Weekly Mass

USCCB Web Site Provides

Calendar of Daily and Weekly Readings for Mass

Click here to see this month's calendar of readings

Use this web site to read the passages for Mass on any given day.  It is a helpful guide to preparing for Mass, or for helping you pray on what you heard at Mass.

Scripture is an important pillar of the Church where God reviels himself and the truth.  The scripture readings used at Mass have been selected and assembled into the Lectionary for use by all Catholics.

From Wikipedia:

With regard to the Daily Lectionary:

The Roman Catholic lectionary includes a two-year cycle for the weekday mass readings (called Cycle I and Cycle II). Odd-numbered years are Cycle I; even-numbered ones are Cycle II. The weekday lectionary includes a reading from the Old Testament, Acts, Revelation, or the Epistles, a responsorial Psalm, and a reading from one of the Gospels. These readings are generally shorter than those appointed for use on Sundays. The pericopes for the first reading along with the psalms are arranged in a two-year cycle. The Gospels are arranged so that portions of all four are read every year.

With regard to the weekly Sunday Lectionary:

The lectionary is organized into three-year cycles of readings. The years are designated A, B, or C. Each yearly cycle begins on the first Sunday of Advent (the last Sunday of November or first Sunday of December). Year B follows year A, year C follows year B, then back again to A.

The Gospel of John is read throughout Easter, and is used for other liturgical seasons including Advent, Christmas, and Lent where appropriate.
