4/19/2015:  Mrs. Toni Napier began volunteering at OLR in 1982? In 1990, she was hired to help out in the computer lab with the early literacy program. Over the next 25 years, she transformed the lab into an integral resource for every classroom, TK-8th grade. Her enthusiasm for teaching is impressive and inspiring. She has kept OLR on the cutting-edge of technology and learning. It was because of her vision that technology became a part of the students' natural learning environment, and that iPads were strategically introduced for teacher use and then student use. She has worked tirelessly (late nights and long summer days) to see her vision come to fruition. She is truly the heart and soul of OLR. Join us on June 7 when Mrs. Napier will be honored with a retirement celebration following the 9:30 AM Mass.

3/29/2015:  The LA Archdiocese Academic Junior High Decathlon was founded 25 years ago by Dr. Mark Ryan. Dr. Ryan's vision was to host an academic event that would parallel athletic competitions. In 1989, eight schools entered the competition. Twenty-five years later, 115 schools competed. This year, OLR placed in the top 25%. We are very proud of these hard-working students!

3/22/2015:  OLR alumnus, Laura Romero (Class of 2005), St. Anthony High School (2009) class valedictorian, graduated from UC Berkley in 2013 and was hired by St. Anthony High School to be the Alumni Affairs and Public Relations Coordinator.
