It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Fr. Bill passed into eternal life at 2:07 P.M. today.
May he Rest In Peace. ☘️
He has been in the hospital nearly 4 weeks with various health issues and over the weekend he became seriously ill.
It was Fr. Bill’s wish that his health status not be shared publicly here in the parish and, as his brother priest, Pastor and friend, I respected his wish.
Please let us all pray for him and especially for his brother Fr. Jerry and his two sisters in Ireland.
Fr. Bill was a great friend to so many during his 40-plus years here at Our Lady of Refuge. Let us all remember him with great gratitude.
As soon as I hear more information about his funeral, I will inform you.
