Meet our OLR Stars

Dalu, Simdee and Ralu Akpambgo are truly OLR Stars. These three have grown up in our parish. They have dutifully accepted every request to serve as altar servers at Sunday Masses, special events, etc. Seeing them on the altar, for more than 10 years in Dalu's case, is reassuring and reinforces our idea of community. They have received their sacraments with us. Ralu is currently in 7th grade at OLR. Dalu is a junior at Poly High School and has played on Poly's varsity basketball and football teams since he was a freshman; he also plays basketball on an elite club team. Simdee is a sophomore at Poly and plays on the varsity girls' basketball team. At the same time as serving OLR and playing sports, Dalu and Simdee have maintained good grades and taken AP courses.
